Hi, I'm Kayla, a Hampton Roads, Virginia Herbalist and Childbirth Educator

Hi, I’m Kayla, a passionate birth professional based in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, and I’m here to help you feel informed, supported, and confident as you prepare for birth.

My mission has always been to empower women to achieve the birth experiences they desire, whether that’s a natural hospital birth, a birth center delivery, an empowering home birth, or a carefully planned cesarean. I firmly believe every woman deserves to feel heard, respected, and in control of her choices throughout the entire journey.

My passion for this work started with a deep appreciation for the strength and capability of the female body. Along the way, I realized how often women’s preferences are dismissed or overlooked in pregnancy and birth, and that’s exactly why I’m so committed to education and advocacy. I’m all about evidence-based information, real conversations, and practical tools that help you make decisions you feel good about.

My focus currently is on offering meaningful support through services like Private Childbirth Education and Holistic Herbal Support Sessions, designed to help you feel prepared, grounded, and ready for birth and postpartum in a way that fits your life.

Outside of birth work, I’m a mom to my daughter, Aubrey. When I’m not supporting families, you can usually find me spending time with my husband and daughter, exploring downtown Smithfield, or talking about all things pregnancy, birth, and postpartum (because yes… I’m a total birth nerd).
